Caden Knudson is guitar picker and singer/songwriter born and raised in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. Caden combines traditional fingerstyle guitar with folk and ragtime progressions combined with contemporary lyrics about life and loneliness in small town Maple Ridge B.C. Aaron Connaughton grew up in downtown Vancouver, playing electric guitar in a variety of bands before settling down in Maple Ridge. The pair met at an open mic. at a cafe on the outskirts of nowhere 10 years ago and started playing music together. After Caden connivingly convincing Aaron to learn to play the Double Bass, the high-strung low-life folk duo Knudson & Connaughton was born in 2016. Aaron’s percussive double bass fills out the rhythm and melodies of Caden’s guitar playing, tied together with smooth two-man harmonies and thoughtful relatable lyrics. The pair have been playing Farmers Markets, Breweries, and Folk Festivals together ever since.
