We are a R’n’R/ blues-rock/ pop-rock band in Vancouver called the Jason Lane Band. We are a four piece band with a woman singer out front. We work the club/pub circuit here in the lower mainland and Fraser Valley as a cover band. Our cover’s include Melissa Etheridge, Alannah Myles, Sass Jordan, Fleetwood Mac, Bad Co., CCR, Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, etc., etc. All the A-list women in the Blues/Rock genre from the 70’s and 80’s. We would be considered a high energy dance band.
We also write and record our own material. In the spring of 2021, we had some modest pan-Canadian success with a song off of our 2nd EP that was supported and distributed by !earshot-distro and the NCRA community radio network. In summer 2022 we released a 6 song EP called Stone In The Water. This album received a review from a music magazine out of Las Vegas plus one from Canadian Beats and one from the FVBS. On the strength of this release we submitted to the 2024 Junos for Best Rock Album and Breakthrough Group.
Now we are proud to present to you our most ambitious work. A hot off the press, 7 song EP entitled Full Steam Ahead. We let our writing drift in a few new directions on this EP. The official release date is June 1 but we are sharing three songs from this, our fourth EP, with you for the 2024 FVMA.
