Dance Alfred, the performance moniker of Nathaniel Zaparilla, is a singer-songwriter based in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. Originally born in the Philippines, Nathaniel and his family moved to the lower mainland wherein he has resided since the age of 1. He began playing guitar in childhood and writing songs as a teenager. Nathaniel graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with an English degree in 2018, concentrating in creative writing. Nathaniel now lives in Langley with roommate, frequent musical collaborator, and fellow UFV alum Tal Wieczorek.
