About The Artist

Located in Abbotsford, BC

Connection to Fraser Valley: I grew up in the Fraser Valley and have been performing here since I was a kid. Although I spent a few years away, I found my way back home and have built my life here. I love being close to the city without losing the small town feel. I produced the Rockin' River Music Festival, which originated in our hometown of Mission, for more than a decade. I have lived, worked and performed in the valley for most of my life and I love it here!

BCCMA award winning and multi-nominated Nashville recording artist Becca Hess is rooted in a country music legacy but her sound is all her own. With classic influences and an eclectic, fresh approach, Becca’s compelling performances and big rich voice captivate listeners. Becca has opened for major artists such as Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Travis Tritt, The Band Perry and many more. As an indie artist, Becca’s songs have made an impact at Canadian radio, her videos featured on Nashville’s TNN Top Ten as the ‘Rising Star’ and even play on the silver screen. Her recent singles have debuted on Sirius XM and have climbed to the top of the indie charts, including a Top Ten single on the Indigenous Music Countdown.

Rooted in classic country music, Becca blends her contemporary melodies with soulful storytelling and big, live band production. Her influences include John Mayer, Norah Jones, Elton John, Celine Dion and Gavin Degraw. Her clean and emotive powerhouse vocals have been compared to Sara Evans and Sara Barielles. Becca’s distinctive voice paired with her compelling lyrics tap into moments and memories that connect with listeners across genres.
