The Sylvia Platters have been crafting well-tuned guitar pop since 2014. Hailing from BC’s Fraser Valley, the band has demonstrated a keen appreciation for melody and melancholy. In 2018, their split LP Shadow Steps reached #30 on the national earshot! monthly campus and community radio charts. In 2020, the band released a pair of new singles that propelled them to their first Fraser Valley Music Award. Their latest release, Youth Without Virtue, is a five-song cassette and digital EP interrogating their shared adolescent experiences within the evangelical church.
