About The Artist

Located in Mission, BC

Jordan Barr is originally from Northern BC in the small town of Valemount. He started rapping in his parents basement at the age of 13. Since then, his life transformed by the power of God and he writes lyrics and raps for Jesus. Family friendly rap and hip-hop! The style of music is unique as it cross pollinates genres of rap, hip-hop, folk, gospel, and worship. He is often developing and performing music in outdoor and neutral settings because his music is too confrontational for the church buildings but also too pure for the clubs and bars. He enjoys collaborating with other artist both locally, across Canada and internationally. Jordan sees music as a powerful conduit for lives to be saved and transformed from darkness into the Light. His music producer, William Brown, from the UK, was a high functional alcoholic until he listened to one of Jordan’s songs titled “Wake Up”. The power in the song instantly transformed him and he no longer drinks and his family life has been healed. Since then, William freely mixed/mastered/produced Jordan’s new album “Disciples”.
