About The Artist

Kier Junos and Zachary Keely started Casinos in 2009 as two 14-year-olds growing up on an audible appetite of The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and other American and British rock bands that became popular in the early aughts.

Casinos proceeded to become the Fraser Valley’s exciting indie-rock mainstays throughout the next decade, renowned for their live shows and strong songwriting.

Bassist Skylar Townrow and drummer Ken Kraylie joined along the way, and the four-piece minted year ten of bandhood with the release of their debut album People Watching last September.

The band most recently performed at Vancouver’s 2019 Westward Music Festival.

With the eager release of their new dual-single Pushbike/Bacelli, Casinos continues to reach wider audiences of international indie-rock enthusiasts.
