The Synthetic Overlords is the musical project of Colton Skerlak. I write and record my own heavy metal and hard rock music. The songs are long and complex but also aggressive and fast. My music is heavily rooted in the alternative metal of the late 90’s and early 2000’s. I post videos of my music on YouTube and Instagram. I am a former winner of the 2025 FVMA for Best Heavy Metal / Punk Artist. If it rocks, I play it!
