Canadian-Ukrainian singer/songwriter Rebecca Sichon continues to make an impact with her music both locally and internationally. After winning the Pop category of the FVMAs in both 2020 and 2021, as well as successfully releasing her latest EP ‘Dream Book’, Rebecca is slated to travel across the country for her first Canadian Tour in May/June and has more music to release in 2022. Her voice has been described as ‘heart-wrenching’, and her music captivates and touches the emotions of every listener in her audience. Taking inspiration from her eastern European roots, as well as the mentorship of her musical father Boris Sichon, Rebecca has been singing since she was a child, and has been recording her own original music since the age of 8. At 20, she has released more than eleven singles, two EPs and has performed hundreds of shows across the Lower Mainland including the Mission Folk Festival as well as been featured in the Vancouver Sun. The depth of her musical experiences is clear in the diversity of her music, expressing herself through the genres of R&B/Soul, Pop, Alternative and more. Whether she accompanies herself with piano, guitar or ukulele, Rebecca continues to entrance and inspire her listeners and is excited to continue performing, writing and growing in 2022.
